Sunday is coming up fast, and you still have to figure out a gift for the most difficult person to buy gifts for! You’ve already scrolled online for hours, you browsed in stores, and your siblings already took all of the good gift ideas. You’re at your wit’s end and you’re no closer to figuring out what you’re going to put in that bag with his gift card.
Well, fret no more, because you just found Jar Store’s Idea Center, and we wouldn’t call it the Idea Center if we weren’t packing some refreshing new ideas! Read below for our top three DIY gifts for Father’s Day that will make your dad smile and fill your heart with pride, because you’re about to get down to it and make something with your own two hands!
Homemade Moisturizing Beard Oil
We’ve all seen the ads online for companies pushing their pricey manscaping products, but why bother with the store-bought stuff when you can make your own right at home? Not only will you end up with a result that’s just as good as what you can get in stores, but you’ll have the opportunity to fine-tune and customize your beard oil to perfectly suit your dad’s tastes.
Take 2 oz. of your carrier oil and add it to your glass jar, consider mixing in shea butter as well if you want a thicker solution that will nourish his facial hair.
Add in 2-4 drops of your essential oils and fragrances (it doesn’t take much, don’t overdo it!) into your carrier oil.
Mix it up nicely and slap a bow on it, ‘cause you’re done!
DIY Glass Jar Car Air Fresheners
Your dad takes pride in his ride, but he can’t truly ride in style unless his car is smelling great. That’s why we’re recommending these homemade car air fresheners as Father’s Day gifts that your dad will appreciate. This is by far the easiest gift on this list to make, but it still makes for an excellent addition to drop in the gift bag.
Honey Garlic Marinated Chicken in a Glass Jar
This one’s a no-brainer. Dad is always bent over the grill on holidays, but today is his holiday, so he should be able to chill out and take a load off this time. Use this easy marinate to spice up the perfect Father’s Day meal.
Combine garlic, honey, olive oil, and soy sauce
Cover chicken in sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to 12 hours
Back or Grill to 165°F
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 4-6 tablespoons of raw honey
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce
That’s our list! We hope you found something your dad will love, and that you’ll be able to take pride in making a fun and creative gift with your own hands.
