Sunday is coming up fast, and you still have to figure out a gift for the most difficult person to buy gifts for! You’ve already scrolled online for hours, you browsed in stores, and your siblings already took all of the good gift ideas. You’re at your wit’s end and you’re no closer to figuring out what you’re going to put in that bag with his gift card.
Well, fret no more, because you just found Jar Store’s Idea Center, and we wouldn’t call it the Idea Center if we weren’t packing some refreshing new ideas! Read below for our top three DIY gifts for Father’s Day that will make your dad smile and fill your heart with pride, because you’re about to get down to it and make something with your own two hands!
Homemade Moisturizing Beard Oil
We’ve all seen the ads online for companies pushing their pricey manscaping products, but why bother with the store-bought stuff when you can make your own right at home? Not only will you end up with a result that’s just as good as what you can get in stores, but you’ll have the opportunity to fine-tune and customize your beard oil to perfectly suit your dad’s tastes.

Steps
Step 1:
Take 2 oz. of your carrier oil and add it to your glass jar, consider mixing in shea butter as well if you want a thicker solution that will nourish his facial hair.
Step 2:
Add in 2-4 drops of your essential oils and fragrances (it doesn’t take much, don’t overdo it!) into your carrier oil.
Step 3:
Mix it up nicely and slap a bow on it, ‘cause you’re done!
Supplies Needed:
- Small 3 oz Glass Jar or 5.4 oz Clamp Jar
- Carrier oil like coconut oil, almond oil, or olive oil
- Fragrance oil like sandalwood, patchouli, cedarwood, or lemongrass
