This is Susan from Momcrieff. wrote a quick and easy tutorial for you using a storage jar and some succulents that you (might) have growing in your garden outside. Below, you will find the link to my easy candle and succulent terrarium.
Do you hate how the days are getting shorter and shorter as much as I do? I really wish the days wouldn’t start getting so short, and so quickly too!
Once this starts happening, I start putting my lights on timers. I guess in a way, I’m hoping that I don’t notice it’s as dark outside if my lights turn on automatically and I don’t notice the darkness creeping into the house.
I bought a bunch of those battery operated candles that have timers last year. From my favorite store – Costco. I was actually there last week and I noticed they have them again. What I like about those candles is they use regular batteries. No having to try to find those funky tiny round batteries somewhere.
Click through here to get to this tutorial. I love this because it brings nature indoors, and the glow of the candle is something I always enjoy (but safely since it’s not a real flame).
This is just a regular storage jar. Like the kind used in your pantry. Please do take a look at my candle and succulent terrarium tutorial if you would like the step by step directions.
