Glass vs. Plastic – Why should I use a plastic jar instead of glass?

When you’re looking for something a bit more durable, shatterproof, or impact resistant, plastic absolutely beats out glass. Don’t worry about dropping these containers off of the shelf, or getting broken during shipping, because plastic can absolutely take a beating.

You can also count on plastic being lightweight, in comparison to glass, that is. Easier to handle, you can typically fit more plastic containers in a box, and the box will weigh much less than if it were full of glass.
