Time in Transit
The Jar Store processes all orders within 24-48 hours. To determine time in transit after the products leave our warehouse, we recommend viewing the below service map showing approximate time in transit for both UPS and pallet deliveries via LTL carriers to your location. Note that these are carrier stated normal service and delivery times. They are by no means a guarantee of delivery in a specified time frame.
For more detailed bulk order tracking, we recommend you call the carrier within one day of receipt of your PRO# (i.e., the type of tracking number issued by trucking companies for pallet movements) to find out when they expect to make delivery.
On pallet shipments we add only the actual quoted transportation cost provided by the common carrier to the invoice. We rely on accurate information from our customers in order to estimate carriage charges. If we are later assessed accessory charges for such things as residential, lift gate or inside delivery service, we will bill you accordingly.
All smaller orders are shipped UPS Ground using published residential rates. Please note: Canadian customers will be responsible for any additional fees due to importation of product. We are experts on the UPS system and as such over package master cartons into a new, heavy duty corrugated box with bubble wrapping on all six sides. We charge our customers a nominal fee of $4.00 per order for this service in addition to the actual UPS Ground residential charges. If your product arrives without over boxing, this means that we have specially designed and manufactured an expensive master carton that withstands the small package environment and any normal wear and tear during shipping.
Product Returns and Damage Claims
We will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase. Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase. If we make an error we will correct it to your complete satisfaction at no cost to you. If you are not happy with the jars we send, we will gladly accept your return and refund the cost of the product. We require a Return Authorization which is obtainable by calling us. You must pay for the return freight and repackage the product so it reaches us in good condition. Your refund may reflect a 15% charge to cover packaging and restocking expenses. Note that we will only accept complete cartons of jars in their original condition and packaging.
All breakage and request for returns must be made within thirty (30) days of receipt. Damaged product must be documented with pictures to receive either a credit or replacement product.
Shipping Time – Orders are shipped within 24-48 hours Monday through Friday, provided the product ordered is in stock. Saturday and Sunday orders are processed on Monday.
Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by the Jar Store or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
BASCO’s obligation hereunder is exclusively limited to the refund of the cost of the products purchased IN NO EVENT SHALL PACK LOGIX, INC. BE LIABLE FOR CLAIMS (BASED UPON BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE) FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT, IMMEDIATE, INCIDENTAL, FORESEEABLE, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL.
