Let’s break it down by style, because every gathering is different, and you’ve got to get centerpieces that match the aesthetic that you’re looking for. We’ll show you a mason jar centerpiece with a rustic and country feel, one with a more modern and elegant style, and one that will light up the room with a summery and ethereal vibe!

Rustic Burlap Centerpiece, Perfect for Fall Weddings!

The farmhouse style has been trendy for a while now, and for good reason! It’s a timeless aesthetic that perfectly lends itself to the warm and fuzzy feelings of Fall. For this affordable (but stylish!) DIY centerpiece, you’ll only need a few cheap things.

What you’ll need:

  • 32 oz. glass Mason jars (One per table)
  • Burlap sacks or cloth (One per table)
  • Twine (12 inches per table)
  • Hot glue
  • Your choice of flowers

What you’ll do:

This is one of the easiest crafts you’ll ever do, and if you have a couple of friends to help you, you can get all of your centerpieces finished in a day or two! Grab a couple of glasses of wine and some of your close friends (and maybe some jarcuterie!), and make a day of it!

  1. Cut burlap into strips, keep them all the same size or vary it up for some contrast
  2. Make a light ring of hot glue around the the mason jar
  3. Wrap your jar with burlap strip
  4. Add twine, ribbon or other decorative pieces to mason jar
  5. Arrange your flowers inside of the mason jar
  6. You’re done! You can also write custom messages on the burlap, to make it a bit more personalized for each guest!

Modern, Elegant, Silver & Gold Mason Jar Centerpieces

Even easier than our burlap decorations, these are a more stylish option for a modern wedding or gathering. Best of all, your guests will be impressed by your hand-crafting talent!

What you’ll need:

  • $0.78 - $0.95 Add to cart

What you’ll do:

  1. Take your supplies into a well-ventilated area or outside in your backyard
  2. Lay down an old towel or tarp (it will DEFINITELY get stained with paint!)
  3. Separate your mason jars into two groups, half for silver and half for gold
  4. Do the same for your lids
  5. Spray even coatings of paint onto your jars, half of the jars being gold and the other half silver
  6. Allow them ample time to dry completely
  7. Coat the threaded part of your lid with spray adhesive
  8. Apply an even dusting of your chunky glitter to the threaded part of the lids, half of the lids being gold and the other half silver
  9. After the jars and lids have dried, you can pair them up!
  10. Place your flowers in the jars and you’re good to go!
By using a two piece lid, you can ditch the top part of the lid and keep the threaded portion. This will give you a nice wide opening for your flowers to go in, while still giving you something to decorate. And if glitter isn’t your thing, you can skip the lids entirely, and just have nicely painted mason jar flower vases!

These centerpieces provide gorgeously diffused light that shines and glitters, and you can choose the color yourself to make them match the rest of your décor.
